Appointment Policies & Procedures


At UNWIND Chiropractic & Wellness, we're committed to providing your family with focused, personalized care at every visit. To ensure we can continue offering the highest level of service to all our patients, we've established the following appointment policies:

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy 

We understand that life with a family can be unpredictable! To help us serve all our patients effectively, we kindly request 12 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This allows us to offer your time slot to another family in need of care.

If less than 12 hours notice is given, a $30 late cancellation fee will apply. This helps us maintain our commitment to providing dedicated, one-on-one time with each patient.

Late Policy

We get it, between traffic and kids; it is easy to fall behind. That said, in order to respect the time of all of our practice members, we must adhere to the time allotted for your appointment. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your scheduled appointment. This allows for a stress-free arrival with a few moments to relax. Take a deep breath, enjoy our calming atmosphere, grab a water, or let your little ones pull out a few toys. 

If you arrive more than 5 minutes after your scheduled time, we may need to reschedule your visit to maintain the quality of care for all our patients. The late cancellation fee of $30 will apply in these cases.

No Show Policy

If you do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged the FULL amount of the service booked. If you have a package plan, you will be deducted a visit.

Card On File

In order to schedule an initial visit or follow-ups, we require all patients to have a card on file. This allows us to bill you quickly and easily, and also serves to hold your place, should a late cancellation or no-show occur.

How to Change or Cancel Your Appointment

You may change any upcoming appointments up to 12-hours prior to your visit in our online scheduler. Cancellations or rescheduled appointments made less than 12 hours of your appointment will be charged the late cancellation fee of $30.

Package Expiration Policy


UNWIND Chiropractic & Wellness care packages are valid for one year from the purchase date. Your package's expiration date is clearly documented on your receipt and accessible through your patient account portal.

To track your package usage:

• Review your appointment history in your patient account portal.

• Request a visit summary from any staff member during office hours

For your convenience, appointments can be scheduled:

• Online by clicking the Schedule an Appointment button below or above

• By phone/text at (850) 750-1115

To optimize your care and investment, we recommend scheduling your visits within the designated timeframe. Unused visits cannot be honored after the expiration date.

Two-Year Absence Policy

At UNWIND Chiropractic & Wellness, we're committed to providing the highest quality care for your family's ongoing health journey. To ensure we're always offering the most appropriate and effective treatment, we maintain a two-year active patient policy.

If more than two years have passed since your last visit, we'll welcome you back as a new patient with a comprehensive consultation and examination. This allows us to thoroughly understand any changes in your health and create an updated, personalized care plan that best serves your current needs.

• Updated health history helps us better understand your wellness goals

• Comprehensive evaluation allows for more personalized treatment

We value your trust in us and want to ensure you receive the highest standard of care at every visit. For returning patients, we offer a new patient consultation and exam at $100, which includes a detailed 50-minute assessment of your current health status.

To maintain continuous care and avoid the new patient process, we encourage you to schedule regular wellness visits.
